Ralph Anthony Marson's Obituary
Ralph Marson, age 94, of Center Line, died on December 23, 2021. He was born in Detroit to the late John and Emma Marsinko. Beloved husband of Geraldine for 60 years. Loving father of Laurene (Don) Hillebrand, Sharon (Fred) Woodward, and Michael (Nancy) Marson. Dear grandfather of Erick (Laura) Hillebrand, Sarah (Mike) Snyder, Emily (Andy) Fredrickson, Rachel (Steve) Gioja, Scout Marson, Kurt Hillebrand, Stephen Marson, John Hillebrand, Charles Marson, Fred Woodward, A.J. Marson, and great-grandfather of Becky Hillebrand, Heidi Hillebrand, Elizabeth Frederickson, and James Frederickson. Predeceased by siblings William Marson, Rosemary Marson, and Raymond Marson. Ralph retired in 1987 as a mathematician at the Warren Tank Arsenal after 25 years. A proud World War II Army Veteran, he was a very loyal, committed father and husband. A history buff who loved to read and research old maps and railroads, Ralph was also a prolific reader, collector, and writer who would often write letters to the editor about causes he believed in. Very strong in his Catholic faith, he was active in the pro-life movement and was a member and strong supporter of the Right to Life of Michigan. Ralph was a member of St. Clement Parish for 57 years. Memorial visitation will be held at Rudy Funeral Home, 25650 Van Dyke, in Center Line on Friday, January 21st from 6pm to 8pm with a 6:30pm Rosary. Instate at St. Mary, Our Lady Queen of Families Catholic Church (St. Clement Site) 25320 Van Dyke, Center Line, MI on Saturday, January 22nd at 11:30 am followed by 12 noon Mass and concluding with military honors.
