Raymond. F. Borkowicz age 81, a longtime Warren resident, died on June 8,2014 at Father Murray Nursing Home. Loving husband of Joanne for almost 56 years. Dear father of Brian (Sheila) Borkowicz, Catherine (Michael) Otto and Christine (Christopher) Nowak. Proud grandfather of Jeremy Otto, Blake and Lily Nowak, Jason Miller and Amanda Kelmer. Brother of the late Leonard. Raymond was a US Navy Veteran. He was a Tool and Die maker and retired from Kent Tool and Die. Raymond loved baseball. He coached his son, and played in several different Senior Softball leagues. He enjoyed the simple things in life. Just listening to the sounds of nature, birds, the rain and thunderstorms, brought him great pleasure. In life ,he was "the organizer" and Mr. Fix-it. Johnny Cash was among his favorites. Visitation will be held at Rudy Funeral Home 25650 Van Dyke in Center Line on Tuesday 1-9 PM with a 6:30 PM Rosary. Instate on Wednesday, June 11, at St Mary, Our Lady Queen of Families Parish (St Clement site) 25320 Van Dyke in Center Line for a 10 AM Mass. Cemetery will be private. Memorials to the Alzheimer's Association appreciated.
