Reynold John Rice's Obituary
Reynold J, Rice age 76 a former longtime Center Line resident, died on Sunday, October 5, 2025. Son of the late John and Vyner Rice. Father of Michael Scotty Scott. Brother of Deborah (Randy) Hall. Uncle to Jeffry (Brandi) Fultz, Jaime (Brandon) Fisk, Jenna Hall, and Jaron (Heather) Hall. Great Uncle to Thomas Fultz and Dillon Hall. Reynold was grandfather to Emmerson Macena, great-grandfather to Wesley David Lynn, Godfather to William and Zackary Van. Also survived by long-time companion Mary Verhulst and many friends. Reynold had graduated from Center Line High School class of 1967. Most of his career he was a general laborer, specifically doing masonry work. A Marine Corps Veteran, he served in Vietnam A black belt in Karate, he also taught Martial Arts. He loved playing golf, darts, pool and cheering on all the Detroit sports teams. Often the life of the party, he enjoyed hanging out with his friends especially at the Sandbaggers for a good game of darts. Visitation will be held Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Rudy Funeral Home 25650 Van Dyke in Center Line 1-8 PM with a 6 PM Funeral service.
