Rich Hyska was my friend for almost the last 70 years. He was a dedicated parochial school educator, athlete, humanist, and creative being. His photographs adorn our house and I still have a short story of his. He was deeply caring, wearing his heart on his sleeve for his beloved wife Peggy and his adopted hometown of Hamtramcyk. He started there at Max's Jewelry and ended up as a school board member, HUD official, and HATCH artist.
I will miss his effusive character. As our late Latin teacher and friend John Guinn would say " Requiescat in Pacem".
