Richard Guy Williams' Obituary
Richard Williams, age 63, of Farmington Hills and a longtime resident of Warren, died suddenly on July 4, 2026. Beloved husband of Ann married 19 years. Loving father of Justin (Rachel) Rick and Kathryn (David) Schmidt. Brother of Danny Marsili, Carol Gower, and Donna Weier. Brother- in-law of Denise (Larry) Chesney Thomas and Kathy Chesney (Willie Van Sumeran) Grandfather of Haven Rick, Remy Rick, and Mozy Schmidt. Predeceased by parents Patricia Barbara Cooke and Richard Clark Williams and siblings Michael Marsili, Sandy Belcher Marsili, Patti Williams, and Margaret Peggy Williams Also predeceased by his father- in- law Richard Chesney, Brother-in-law Richard Chesney Jr., Brother and sister-in-law Bruce and Sharon Chesney. Also survived by a special Aunt Louise and Uncle Terry Cooke, many nieces, nephews, and friends. Rick proudly served in the US Marine Corps from January 14, 1985, to June 13, 1989, primarily serving in the Philippines and Camp Pendleton, and was a lifetime member of the UAW. He was employed by The Paslin Company for over 20 years as a pipefitter and then Chrysler/Stellantis in May of 2014 from which he retired on December 31, 2024. Rick enjoyed golfing, fishing, and traveling. He graduated from Carl Brablec High School Class of 1981 and maintained a lifelong friendship with “The Roseville Gang”. He will be dearly missed. A memorial visitation is scheduled for Friday, July 10th from 1pm to 6pm with a 5pm time of service concluding with military honors at Rudy Funeral Home, 25650 Van Dyke in Center Line.
