Shirley Eckman, age 92, of Clinton Township and formerly Detroit, died on September 29, 2016. Loving Mother of Deborah A. Sampson and Allen V. Eckman. Former mother-in-law of Alexandra Eckman and James Howard Sampson "Sandie". Grandmother of Jason Christopher (Jessica)Sampson, Michelle Leigh Sampson (Christopher), Nicholas Allen Eckman and Andrew Jordan Eckman. Great-grandmother of Alexis Marie Edelson, Juliana Michelle Sampson, Mirabella Sampson, Brendan Samuel Saio, Violet Autumn Aberlich, and Delliah Rose Aberlich. Sister of the late Lester Frey, Elizabeth Clara LaFrance, Ethel Frey and Romelda C. Frey. Visitation at the Rudy Funeral Home, 25650 Van Dyke, in Center Line, on Saturday, October 1st from 4 - 6 pm. 5:30 pm time of service. Cemetery private.
