Grandma I miss u every day
I knew Stella through my best friend Christine. Stella was a lot of fun. When I think of Stella, I think of champagne. I teased her that her long life and mental alertness was due to her moderate drinking of champagne. A few years ago I sent her an article I read stating that "champagne was good for the brain." She always made me feel welcome at her cottage. Truly, God blessed her with a long life, one that was filled with both sorrow and joy. I pray for all those who loved Stella, and have shared in her sorrows. She is in God's hands, what better place could she be?
Stella was my mom's first cousin. They were very close when we were growing up. We spent a lot of time visiting Stella's family. We kids would play and the moms would gab. I remember that Stella liked to laugh. She was a vibrant person who lived to a ripe old age. I will always remember her with great fondness.
