Steve was one of my favorite people in all the world! He had a big heart, a caring soul and a smile for everyone. I remember how we humanely rescued baby mice found in my classroom so I could save them and transport them to Dodge Park! We had so many wonderful talks together and shared a lot of laughs. Steve was the first to suggest I become a principal in Van Dyke. And I did...at Lincoln Elementary. We shared a big hug when I left Carlson. I loved this man with all my heart. May you rest in peace, dear friend. xo
