Played football with Thomas at The University of Buffalo from 1967-1970. He was the hardest hitting and most intense player I ever met. I hated to go up against him in blocking drills or scrimmages. He never bragged about how good he was. It was against his nature because of how humble he was. We were both P.E. majors and I had numerous classes with him. He was very serious about doing things right. Our first class together was a marching class at 8:00 A.M. 3 days a week our freshman year and Thomas always made sure we were doing things correctly.
He was a warm, friendly, compassionate and kind human being. I'm a better human person for knowing him.
Thomas, rest in peace. God bless you.
