Violet Edith Novak's Obituary
Violet Edith Novak ( Cross) 88, went home to the Lord on March 8,2015. She was born April 6,1926 to Olga and Joseph Cross in Detroit, Michigan. Violet grew up in Warren where she graduated from Busch High School in 1945. It was there that she played in the band and was active in sports. After graduating High School, she began work at Manufacturers Bank in Detroit where she helped handle Henry Ford's trust accounts. Violet married Leport Max Novak in 1950. Violet and Lee owned and operated Lee's Florist in Center Line that was established in 1946 and continues to this day.. She was predeceased by her husband Lee in 2002, Dear mother of Dennis (Kathy) and Gary Novak. Survived by her grandsons Rudy and Ryan Novak, brothers James (Gloria) Holman, Larry (Mary) Cross, and sister, Carol (Robert) Pantea. Visitation at Rudy Funeral Home 25650 Van Dyke Center Line, Tuesday from 6-8 PM and Wednesday from 2PM -9PM with a 7:30PM Funeral Service.
