Walter Ashmore 's Obituary
Walter James Ashmore age 83 of Vassar,Michigan formerly of Warren died suddenly on October 3,2012. Born February 28,1930 to Charles and Florence Ashmore in Van Dyke (now Warren,) Michigan. Walter served in the United States Army during the Korean conflict and retired from Ford Motor Company after many years there. He is survived by his wife Betty Lou, and his 8 Children, Robert, Michael, David, Cheryl, Alan, Lisa Cooke, Vicki Bigham and Renee Stewart. He is also survived by 17 Grandchildren, 6 Great-Grand-children and his brother Ronald. He was predeceased by his brother Charles. Visitation will be held on Sunday October 7,2012 at Rudy Funeral Home 25650 Van Dyke, Center Line, Michigan from 1 until 8 PM with a 7 PM veteran service with full military honors. Funeral services will take place at the Funeral Home, Monday October 8,2012 at 10:30 AM. Burial and graveside services at White Chapel Cemetery in Troy,Michigan.
