All my sympathy and deepest condolences go out to the Testasecca family. I met Wayne at the Warren DPW where we both worked. He was a very kind, upbeat ,happy person with an infectious laugh that lifted everyone's spirits. I will always remember his keen sense of humor and good and humane nature. He will be missed by many beyond his family.
My deepest sympathies to the family & friends of Wayne. Wayne was a school buddy of mine. Met him when we were chosen to participate in a district Detroit Public School choir, both of us from different elementary schools at the time, but he took me under his wing and saw me through my uncertainties. We met back up when we attended the same Junior and High school. We never associated outside of school, but he was a great guy who I always considered one of my best school friends We both had "milkman" dads and Wayne got me interested in culinary arts. I'm sure he was still the outgoing, caring guy I remembered, was hoping to see him again next year if 1972 Cody graduates have a reunion, guess that reunion will have to wait for heaven. Dear Wayne,
We meet you almost 8 years ago when we moved into Holiday Shores. You were one of the first people to stop by and welcome us to the community. When you introduced yourself along with Karen, I knew that we met special people. Over the years we have become friends. We discovered we have a lot in common. We grew up in the same neighborhood, love to cook, love to eat, love to share stories, drink beer, tease all our friends and laugh about it. You were always willing to help people out. You always had a beer ready for all visitors. You often apologized for not having time to stop and chat when you were on your golf cart heading to help another friend or even a stranger, but you always took the time to wave and smile!
I won't say goodbye to you, I will just say "till we meet again" please have 1 cold beer ready when we meet again!
