William R. Melin's Obituary
William Melin, age 89, of Harrison Township, died on May 25, 2021. Son of the late William and the late Theresa Melin. Predeceased by his only sister, Doris (Eugene) Carnago. Dearest uncle of Steven (Deborah) Carnago, William Carnago, Eugene (Julie) Carnago, Jacquelyne (Dave) Grix, Michelle (Dale) Carnago, and Nicole (Michael) Brumley. Also survived by many great nieces and nephews. As his heart always remained in Detroit, he was a longtime member of Sweetest Heart of Mary Catholic Church. William was an honorably discharged veteran from the United States Air Force having served in Japan. He worked and retired in sales. Quite the entertainer, he enjoyed playing the piano and was very talented having learned to play by ear. Instate will be Friday, May 28th from 9am-10am with a 10 AM time of funeral mass at Sweetest Heart of Mary Catholic Church 4440 Russell Street, Detroit, MI 48207.
