Winifred (a/k/a "Fred") A. Sears died at Ascension Warren Hospital on 12-25-2023. He was son of the late Kenneth and Lorine Sears, born in Beury Mountain District, Lafayette, West Virginia. Beloved husband of
JoAnn for 25 years. Dear father of Tambra Jacobson, Tim Sears, Ted (Tracy) Sears and Tina Sears. Grandfather of Christopher, Josh, Jacob, Nathan, Tiffany and Brittany. Great-grandfather to Maria. Fred was a proud, honorably discharged veteran having served in the U.S. army. He was a retired truck driver who enjoyed gardening in his free time. The family said that he was a hard worker, always dependable, a great husband and a good soul who will be greatly missed. Visitation at Rudy Funeral Home 25650 Van Dyke in Center Line on Friday, December 29,2023 from 1-8 PM and Saturday 9AM-10 AM. Funeral services Saturday 10 AM with military honors.
