My sincere condolences to Gustavo, Carlos, and Elena. Ann and I became friends in elementary school and continued our friendship throughout our adult life. So many memories flood my mind of time spent with my “sis”. She lived such an adventurous well-traveled life and no doubt touched so many lives of the young people she taught. I remember many times witnessing the quiet happy smile of pride and look of love she would get on her face whenever she talked about Gustavo and their two beautiful children. Like many, I wish I was able to have more visits with her over the past years but she was always in my thoughts and heart. Rest well my dear friend.
