It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Barbara Lynn Poirier on December 17th, 2024. Barbara was born on September 6th,1953. The only daughter of the late Robert and Jeannie Poirier, Barbara grew up in Cent Read Obituary
I met Barb working with Social Security Admin. We ended up sharing an apartment for a year! And our friend Val joined us during that time. I remember going to her cottage in Port Austin in the winter!!! We went on other trips also. Toronto was a riot!!! We played Tripoley once a Month with other gals from Social Security. Lots of laughs. She has been missed! Prayers for her and her family! Connie Gwisdalla (Sclafani).
Barb was definitely her own person and we shared some good times working at the Social Security Administration in the 70's. When she let us know her last name meant Peartree, we all started calling her Peartree. A few of us girls went to Toronto what a blast! She had a sense of humor we got to see more of on that trip! Bobby God Bless You and your family and all who loved her. Remember The Ones We Love are not far away, their spirit lives on in all of us❣️️
