Brandon Samsa
I`ve known Chet and work alongside him for almost 16 years at Alta Equipment. I met Chet on my very first day at Alta in 2005 when I was just a young man (age 19 years old) and knew very little of the material Handling industry and recall feeling a bit out of place as the youngest ALTA employee to come aboard at that time. Chet was already well into his career at this time, but immediately became one of my most trusted mentors and friends, just like he was for so many others. Chet welcomed everyone equally with open arms and made them feel right at home no matter their age, or experience. My heart broke as hard as I can remember when I heard of the news, as I was just talking with all morning on the day of his sudden-passing. In all my years of knowing Chet, he was consistently a co-worker and friend you could always rely on. Chet`s deep, growly voice and BIG smile was unmistaken and would light up a room every time! Chet carried himself and others with the same helpful can do attitude because that was who Chet was. On Chet`s worst of days, you wouldn't even know as he was always one of the most helpful and selfless individuals I`ve had the pleasure to work with. I`ll miss you buddy... We`ll ALL miss you buddy! Chet`s memory and character as a person will live on in our ALTA family for all the years to come!
We will continue to celebrate your life old friend! We continue to send our warmest love and support to the entire Olszewski family!!
Sincerely,
- BRANDON SAMSA
