Douglas Roland, age 85, died on March 18, 2026. Born on October 6, 1940, in Oxford, Michigan to the late Gerald and June Roland. Beloved husband of the late Beverly (May 13, 2006) married in 1962. Loving father of Brian Roland, Russ (Maria) Roland, and the late Robert Roland (January 4, 2017). Predeceased by siblings Carl, Nancy, and Kay. Doug retired from the post office as a mail carrier and proudly served in the US Navy from 1959-1966. He enjoyed telling stories. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 23rd from 1pm – 8pm at Rudy Funeral Home, 25650 Van Dyke, in Center line. Funeral service with Navy honors Tuesday, March 24th at 12 noon.
