My tribute, to Gary,
He was my old next door neighbor's Linda's husband, and the 1st time I met Gary, I was visiting his wife's Linda's parents house, I was over there painting 1 of my 1st oil paintings, and Gary said that it was good, and I told him, I'm painting it from my mind, and he got so amazed, he told me he thought it was a paint by number painting, I really needed to hear someone say that, and Gary always said nice things about me,
And another nice time with Gary was when I was visiting his and his wife's Linda's house, and we were watching TV, and we both commented the same nice thing about a movie star we seen on TV, I thought that was so nice that Gary thought the same thing I did about that person,
And I always remembered all the nice things about Gary from time to time,
In my life, of what he always said about me,
Nice things are what we all need to hear about us, because it helps us to be reminded of the good qualities about ourselves, and to carry on with our lives,
And I'm thankful for people like Gary who could get it out, to say it to me,
Some of us think nice stuff about others but we can't say them,
But that is okay,
But we can learn to say them, or at least write a note to them, to tell them,
But now I know Gary is in heaven where we are all knowing there about things, like God is all knowing, and now I know he knows how much I appreciated the nice things he said to me, even if I couldn't tell him or write a note to tell him,
