Gary Allen Jones' Obituary
Gary A. Jones, age 72 of Center Line, passed away Monday, February 3, 2025 at Ascension Macomb Hospital in Warren, Michigan. Loving husband of Linda, devoted father of Gregg and Timothy (Kate). Son of the late Gordon A. Jones and the late Martha I. Jones. Gary was a hardworking gentle giant who went out of his way to help his family and friends. He had a handful of jobs and was a jack of all trades.
Gary also had a very giving heart. He believed in community, often helping out neighbors and served on the city’s beautification project. He had a number of hobbies, from shooting pool or darts, to gardening or tinkering in his garage and he could often be seen riding around the neighborhood on his bicycle and later his electric scooter blaring music on his radio and enjoying life.
Gary enjoyed traveling and he and his wife, Linda, loved spending time in Traverse City. Gary and Linda were married over 50 years and had renewed their vows on their 50th anniversary. Gary loved family most and always made sure they knew it. A memorial visitation will be held from 11-6pm on Thursday, February 13th at Rudy Funeral Home in Center Line, Michigan with a memorial service to start at 6pm.
