Shirley Ann Foster's Obituary
Shirley Foster, age 74, of Center Line, and former long-time resident of Madison Heights, died on August 18, 2024. Beloved wife of Gary Foster married nearly 42 years. Loving mother of Michelle (Curtis) Ward, late Mark Shollenberger, and April (David) Uricek. Dear Nana of Nicole, Megan (Bryant), Jesse, Justin (Mallory), and Jared (Mara), and great-nana of Charlee, Colton, and soon to be born Aliyah. Also survived by her sister Geraldine Kruse and predeceased by 7 other Siblings. Survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, and her faithful canine companion, Bambino. Shirley had worked as a retail manager at Meijer for over 20 years and at MGM Casino as a costume line manager for several years. In her free time, she enjoyed suduko, crosswords, Facebook, campfires, going up north to Gladwin, hiking, going to Greenfield Village, and most of all spending time with her grandkids. Visitation will be held at Rudy Funeral Home, 25650 Van Dyke, in Center Line, on Thursday, August 29th from 1pm to 8pm with a 6:30 PM funeral service. Memorials to the family appreciated.
